Ansonia Clock Co. “Cosmo” green onyx crystal regulator, ca. 1914. A 15-inch-tall crystal regulator with a green onyx top and base.  There are four good, beveled glasses and a brightly gilded ornament on top, as well as gilded trim pieces on the edges; no chips or cracks to the onyx.  The two-part porcelain dial is signed at the bottom and bears the Ansonia logo in the middle; the visible escapement has ruby pallets, the hands are correct. The 8-day time and half-hour gong strike movement is running without issue.  Schmidt’s Antiques sold one in 2021 for $350. $250–$400.
