Ansonia Clock Co. “Marquis”, ca. 1904.  A beautifully polished crystal regulator with bright gold ornaments on the sides, top, and bottom, and a jeweled sash and pendulum.  It stands 15 inches tall with four beveled glasses, a two-part porcelain dial with the Ansonia logo in the middle, proper hands, and a visible escapement with jeweled pallets.  The signed 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking on a cathedral gong. Absolutely nothing not to like here.  Tom Harris sold a similar example in 2020 for $400, and in 2019 for $300.  $250–$400.
