108.           $150

Seth Thomas Clock Co. “Chime Clock No. 72”, ca. 1921.  A 15-inch mahogany case with a polished finish and only slight wear.  The silvered dial shows modest soiling and wear but still looks good; the hands are Seth Thomas upgrades and there is a fast–slow adjustment and chime–silent lever.  The 8-day time, strike, and chime movement is signed and running, striking the quarter hours on four well-tuned rods with Westminster chimes, and counting the hours on a single rod.  The sound is nearly as good as on bells, for a very affordable price.  $150–$300.
