Forestville Manufacturing Co. ripple-front steeple, 1842-1849.  A refinished 20-inch ripple-front sharp gothic with two period/original glasses, the repainted tablet showing JC Brown’s home in Bristol, CT.  The flat metal dial has been repainted, the hands are appropriate but new.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed and running and striking on the wire gong.   A decent label inside.  AAC sold one last winter for $810.  $500-$800.
