Forestville Hardware & Clock Co. “Thirty Hour Time-piece” sub-miniature steeple, 1853–1855.  A second example from this company, this one without side finials. The 12.5-inch case has mahogany or walnut veneer on the front with some losses, particularly on the bottom edge of the door and at the peak.   Both glasses are period/original, the frosted tablet in reasonable shape.  The same cannot be said for the dial, which has substantial losses and yellowing.  The hands are appropriate but not necessarily original.  The 30-hour time-only movement is unsigned and running without issue; there is a very good label inside.  AAC sold a similar example also lacking side finials in July of 2021 for $1000.  $800–$1000.
