Ives “Patent Brass Eight Day Clock”, 1830-1836. A second example of this model, with a cleaner finish; the dial glass is original,
the two tablet glasses are old but may be replacements; both were repainted by Tom Moberg. The wood dial is a bit faded, the
mirror is likely original but the wire attachment to pull it up and observe the brass movement is missing. The hands are period/correct. The strap brass movement is oily and will only run for a minute or two; the strike works. There two proper old weights and a
period pendulum bob, with a good label inside. $250–$350.
