Boston Clock Co.
wall regulator, 1884-1894. Much like the Pendulum No. 1, but with a bracket base. The 38-inch cherry case has a clean
finish; the dial glass is modern, the lower glass period/original and has been rebacked. The dial is yellowed and is peeling
badly under the mainstem and the maker name. It has been touched up and will need to be repainted. The hands are original. The 8-day, time-only movement is signed at the bottom (mostly obscured by the pendulum); it will run a bit but needs service. The pendulum stick and bob look good, there is a proper weight, wooden weight shield, and tie-down. No label. AAC sold
one last summer for $826. $600-$800.
