New Haven Clock Co. Thirty-hour steeple, ca. 1860.  A 20-inch sharp gothic (steeple) veneered in mahogany with some missing veneer on the sides of the base.  More importantly, the finials have been rather crudely decapitated.  Not good.  Both glasses are old, the lithograph tablet in excellent condition. I do not recognize the image.  The metal dial has been repainted and crudely numbered; the hands are period/original.  The 30-hour time-and-strike movement is unsigned, running like a champ and striking on the wire gong.  Good label inside.  $50-$150.
