Waltham Watch Co. half-size banjo, ca. 1925.  The clock is 21 inches long, tip to tip, and contains pendant-wind, size 37, 8-day movement that winds at the bottom inside the box by pushing the rod up and turning, just like a watch stem.  If you pull down on the rod it allows you to set the time, although the mechanism is not working well on this clock; I could wind it, but it would not run.  It will need service.  The reverse-painted glasses are nice; the dial glass is thick and beveled.  $100-$200.
