Unknown small schoolhouse clock, ca. 1890. This little 20.5-inch clock bears no label or maker stamp on the dial or movement.  It appears to be Jerome/New Haven issue, although I could not find a good match in Ly’s book on New Haven clocks.  The case is mahogany or walnut, clean and unmarred. Both glasses are old, the tablet in good condition; the dial is original, one or both hands may be replacements.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a large iron bell; there is also an alarm hooked up but not tested.  A New Haven-style pendulum bob.  A nice little wall clock that deserves a good home.  $50-$100.
