Seth Thomas Clock Co. “World”, ca. 1921.  The 32-inch oak case has an old and probably original finish; the dial glass is a replacement, the lower glass original.  The dial is original with some light soiling, marked Seth Thomas Thirty Day.  The three hands are original/correct.  The large 30-day, time-only movement is signed and running, pendulum correct for this model.  No label, front or back.  This clock also came in a 15-day version.  A similar example, but only a 15-day, sold at Fontaine’s this spring for $150.  $100-$200.
