Baird Clock Co. American Legion Post advertiser, 1889-1896.  This clock was made for the John F. DeHaven American Legion Post No. 129 in Conshohocken, PA.  However, this post was formed in 1919, well after Edward P Baird stopped making advertiser clocks.  The clock is running, regulated by a Seth Thomas pendulum.  My guess is that a good woodworker routed the bezels for this clock (they are wood, not paper mâché) and replaced the paper mâché advertising on an old clock with his handiwork. Note the rounded bottom on the early case.  Rather well done, I think!  $250-$500.
