246.    $150

Seth Thomas “Mayflower”, ca. 1928.  Seth Thomas made several versions of this ship’s bell model; this one appears to be the earliest, listed in the catalog in 1928.  It has a brass ship’s wheel with significant wear on a screw bezel over a 4.5-inch silvered dial.  The clock is 9.25 inches tall and 13.5 inches wide.  The lever movement is 7-jeweled with a ship’s strike on a bell.  The clock is running and striking.  The wood base is mahogany with a dark finish and some wear.  Horton’s sold one in 2019 for $250.  $150-$300.
