English? carved tall-case clock, ca. 1850?  A carved walnut case standing 89 inches tall and 13.5 inches wide.  The staining is a bit uneven, but I think the finish is original.  The dial glass is original, with the original putty; the door glass is modern.  Of course the pull-up movement is modern and made in the USA; it plays Westminster chimes and strikes on the hours, and is running.  You could replace it; I have no clue what belongs in this case with only 12 inches of internal width.  It’s a cool case and deserves a better movement.  $100-$200.
