210.     $350

Waterbury Clock Co. “Bruce”, ca. 1893.  A 37-inch walnut case with an old finish, original door glass with old gold leaf jeweler’s lettering, and the original painted dial with the Waterbury logo.  The hands are also likely original.  The signed 8-day, time-only, spring-driven movement is running without problem, regulated by a Waterbury silvered pendulum bob.  There is a good label on the back.  This is a nice example in well-preserved condition, likely because it was in a jeweler’s shop for at least part of its life.  The Bruce model is not common; this one sold at Harris last May for $375. $350-$500.
