Bench-made Seth Thomas No. 2 regulator.  This solid oak case approximates a factory-made No. 2; it is 35 inches long, with a 12-inch dial and a 15-inch wooden bezel that hinges at the top.  There is beveled glass in the lower door.  The solid-plate movement is unsigned, time-only and should run 8-days.  The weight is a modern No. 2 weight and the pendulum is a heavy lead-backed modern issue.  No maker stamp anywhere.  It is running without problem.  $100-$400.
