Antique American Clocks January 2022

Bench-made “Regulator No. 2”. This is a good first-attempt reproduction of this popular
regulator. A 36-inch solid oak case, made in the last 50 years; everything on it is new, the reproduction 8-day movement is
unsigned and running, although the tolerances between the hands and dial are tight, causing it to stop unpredictably. The wooden
bezel and case attachment have come unglued and need to be screwed to the case frame. The weight, movement, pendulum, and dial
are worth the price as parts. $100-$250.
