139.     $250

Self-Winding Clock Co. “Style No. 29”, ca. 1898.  This is the smallest of the five sizes offered in this model, at 21-inches square with a 14-inch dial.  I think the oak case has been refinished and the carvings on the front show off very nicely.  The glass is old and the painted dial has light soiling.  The battery-operated movement is the standard “F” model with a synchronized movement adaptor for secondary clocks.  As batteries were included, I tapped the pendulum and off it went.  A nice example.  This model typically sells for $300-$500.
