Black Forest 6-horn trumpeter wall clock, ca. 1870.  A 33.5-inch case with carvings on all sides.  The dial is 8 inches in diameter.  Many of the carvings have been repaired but it looks like everything is there. The hands are old but may not be original.  There is a long fancy pendulum and two 3-lb pinecone weights.  The brass movement will run and trigger the trumpets on the hour, but they do not follow through and the guards do not emerge from their guardhouse. Fixing that is outside my expertise.  The bellows look ok.  $3500-$5000.
