Black Forest wall cuckoo, ca. 1900.  A 20-inch walnut case covered in carved oak leaves with a squirrel eating an acorn on top.  No missing pieces to the trim that I can see.  Hands and dial numbers look original, with a possible repair to the minute hand.  The unsigned brass movement is running, striking, and the cuckoo is calling on the hour; the strike needs adjustment and the bird’s door does not fully open.  The bellows look new.  Two pinecone weights and a pendulum.  $300-$500.
