Antique American Clocks January 2022
67. $750
Colonial Mfg Co. “No. 10 Regulator”, ca. 1980. An accurate and well-made reproduction
of the E. Howard No. 10 Regulator, at 34 inches in length in a walnut case. The 8-inch painted metal dial is signed “E. Howard
& Co. Boston” and is correct, as the movement was made and signed by the E. Howard Co. in Waltham MA. Everything is as originally
marketed by the Grand Rapids MI clock and furniture company, which closed in 1983. It is running as expected; nothing not to
like here. AAC sold two Wayne Cline No. 10 reproductions last summer for $750. $750-$1000.
