52.      $100

English oak tall case clock, 1800’s.  The dark oak case is 89 inches tall; it has burl inlay and banding on the front and on the waist door.  The finish is worn and rough in places.  The hood lacks finials; the dial glass is modern.  There is a working door latch and key.  The painted dial is worn but clean; the minute and hour hands are just plain wrong, the calendar hand is missing, and the numbering on the dial worn off, as is the signature of the maker. The brass movement is running, driven by two 11-lb lead and iron weights.  No paperwork associated with this clock.  A good project clock I think.  $100-$500.
