G Resch “Remember” Biedermeier-style timepiece, 1872-1901.  An attractive 38-inch walnut case with black trim and a moderately glossy finish.  The door glass is a modern replacement.  The dial is black paper with gold numbering and hands.  The pendulum bob is unusual.  The 8-day, time-only movement mounts on four posts and is signed and numbered; the serial number matches those on the pendulum stick and mount.  It is driven by a small weight.  An intermediate-size Vienna in excellent condition.  $300-$600.
