E. Howard & Co. “No. 75 Regulator” ca. 1889. Just about perfect, in oak. A
34-inch case with an old finish, an original dial with some touched up chips and a bit of ink smearing, correct hands, and two original
glasses with an excellently preserved tablet. The signed Type 70 movement is running easily, driven by a Type 70 weight and
regulated by a damascened pendulum bob. Fontaine’s sold an oak No. 75 in 2018 for $5000. $2500-$4000.
