252.    $450

Wayne Cline miniature Massachusetts shelf clock, ca. 2003?  Cute as a button and no bigger than a bread box (17 inches tall), this miniature reproduction of a Simon Willard clock is adorable.  The case is walnut, the Tom Moberg glasses spectacular.  The hood slides off to reveal the cupped, signed metal dial; there is a Waltham Watch Co. 8-day lever movement behind it and it is running.  A small winding key is included.  The case is stamped on the back with a secret code. Mr. Cline died in 2006 but he left behind many great reproductions of early clocks.  The most recent sale of this model that I can find was for $950 in 2019; Horton’s sold one in 2016 for $500.  $500-$900.
