E. Ingraham Co. “Ionic Calendar”, ca. 1886.  A 29-inch rosewood case with two original glasses and clean paper dials.  The wood bezels retain their grain-painted finish.  The hands appear to be correct; the time-only 8-day movement is signed and running and the calendar hands are advancing, although the weekday hand needs some adjustment.  The Lewis V calendar mechanism has lost its cover.  This clock is shown in Ly’s Calendar Clocks, page 106.  This is one of the better examples I have seen.  Schmitt’s Antiques sold a similar example last October for $475.  $400-$500.
