Antique American Clocks July 2021
235. $50
Seth Thomas & Sons “No. 8025”, ca. 1872. A 15-inch spelter case with the original gold finish,
worn and missing in places. The signed porcelain dial has a scratch at the bottom; the hands are correct and it sits behind
a flat beveled glass. The 15-day round movement is signed; it strikes a nickel bell on the half hour and hour but will not run
steady and will need attention. The shepherd boy’s crook may be a replacement. No sales records. $50-$150.
