207.    $150

Atkins Clock Co. “London”, 1859-1879.  An ever-popular model, this one an 8-day time-and-strike in a rosewood-veneered case 17 inches tall with a great finish, one of the best I’ve had in a while.  The dial glass and middle tablet are original and have been rebacked.  The columns are a bit bare.  The metal dial has been repainted, the hands are not original but fit perfectly.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is unsigned and reluctant to run, but I don’t think it is anything serious.  It will strike.  There is a great label inside.  AAC has sold several examples of this model, averaging around $175.  $150-$250.
