F. Kroeber Clock Co. “Round Top”, ca. 1875.  An 11.5-inch walnut case with an old finish and patina. These guys came in a variety of designs, and this one differs slightly from those shown in Ly, Kroeber Clocks on page 336.  The dial glass is a replacement, the painted dial original with significant losses and yellowing.  The hands are period.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed “N Pomeroy Bristol CT”.  It is running and striking.  The pendulum bob is new. There used to be a label on the back.  $50-$100.
