Wm. Gilbert Clock Co. “No. 409” porcelain clock, ca. 1898.  A white porcelain case with light green and blue decorations and purple flowers.  The case is 12 inches high and 10 inches wide; there is a small chip at the upper right edge of the front.  The bezel is brass, the glass flat, and the dial paper with a foil center.  The hands are incorrect. The 8-day, half-hour strike movement is signed but not running.  $50-$100.
