Ansonia Clock Co. “Ossipee”, ca. 1914. This model is not listed in Ly’s book on Ansonia clocks,
but there are plenty of examples on LiveAuctioneers. The case is 11.5 inches tall by 13 inches wide, here in a blue-green tint
with pink flowers and good gold highlighting. There is a chip to the case at the back of the right foot. The two-part
porcelain dial has a faint hairline at the ‘5’ and the ‘8’ and bears the Ansonia logo; the beveled flat glass has some scratches over
the ‘2’. The 8-day signed movement is running and striking; the pallets are steel. $175-$250.
