Riley Whiting carved column and splat, 1828-1835.  A 29.5-inch mahogany case with intricately carved columns and splat, on paw feet in front and turned feet in back.  Both glasses are original with the original tablet. There are minor losses to the tablet but some touch-up to the building that has unfortunately darkened badly.  The wooden dial is clean, the hands period.  The 30-hour wooden movement has some gear repairs and will run for just a minute or so; the clock will strike.  Good label inside.  The pineapple finials are missing.  $250-$400.
