Gustav Becker open well swinger, ca. 1920.  A 34-inch oak case with brass ornaments, including a boss at the top with the retailer’s name “Heinrich König, Clocks and gold goods, Bremervörde”.  The dial glass is convex, the metal dial painted.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed but unwilling to run for long and is difficult to wind. The strike is functioning, counting the hours and striking on the half-hour.  $125-$175.
