Seth Thomas “Regulator No. 2”, ca. 1890.  This is an earlier model based on the base design; it is veneered in walnut with a dark finish and plenty of age, in perfect condition.  Both glasses are likely original, as is the dial, which has been touched up in places, but looks good.  The hands are correct, the weight, and the pendulum and bob. The 8-day, time-only movement is signed and running with authority.  A white label inside on the bottom.  About as good as they get.  $600-$800.
