Baird Clock Co. “Walkden’s Inks” advertiser, ca 1894.  This English advertiser clock is 31 inches long and is shown on page 134 of Baird Advertising Clocks by Jerry Maltz (I have two copies of this book for sale in Parts). It has been repainted and may not have been originally white; the one shown in the book is in a darker color with light-colored lettering. The glasses are old but may be replacements; the paper dial is original and shows yellowing and wear, but the Baird Clock Co. imprint is still visible.  The hands are correct, as is the pendulum bob.  The Baird-signed movement, time only, 8 days, is running vigorously.  A Walkden’s advertiser sold at Schmitt’s in 2017 for $1800.  $900-$1200.
