Seth Thomas “Queen Anne”, ca. 1883.  A classic and popular Seth Thomas wall clock.  The 36-inch walnut case has a clear finish with just the right amount of gloss.  The door glass is old, the dial likely repainted many years ago.  The hands are correct; in fact, everything on this clock is correct.  The 8-day, time-and-strike signed movement is running and striking a brass bell on the hours.  There is a black label on the inside bottom.  It seems like every auction I have one of these to sell; this is the nicest I have had in a while.  AAC sold two in January for $286 and $350.   $250-$400.
