60.      $150

Waterbury Clock Co. “Calendar No. 43”, ca. 1912.  The 29-inch case is oak under a very crusty finish.  The door glass is original, in good condition, and both dials are paper, dingy, touched up and painted in ways I am not sure of.  The hands are correct.  The 8-day, half-hour strike movement is unsigned; it is running and striking and the calendar date is advancing, but the weekday roller is not.  A very slight adjustment in the drop is needed.  Both calendar roller covers are no doubt original and very dark.  There are shreds of a label on the back; the crest broke in half and has been reglued, the crack is barely evident from the front.  If you like them untouched this one is for you.  The No. 43 is not uncommon and in better condition sells for $250-$450.  $150-$300.
