59.      $150

Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “No. 7 Shelf Cottage”, 1869-1878.  A 22-inch walnut case with a clean finish and simple design.  Both glasses are old, the paper calendar dial likely original, the paper time dial replaced. The hands are correct.  The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement was made by Noah Pomeroy; the mainstem has broken loose at the back and needs repair; the strike chain is also malfunctioning.  The calendar advances without problem.  Two uncommon labels on the back.  This might be the most common Ithaca model, generally selling between $200 and $400.
