Ansonia Clock Co. “Tuxedo”, ca. 1901.  A 10-inch porcelain clock in cream and mint with green and gold highlights and purple pansies.  The cream-colored paper dial has a gilt center and sits in an “American sash” holding a flat glass.  The hands are correct.  The signed 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is running and striking on a cathedral gong.  $50-$150.
