Wm. L. Gilbert & Co. steeple, 1851-1866.  A 20-inch steeple veneered very nicely in rosewood with two period/original glasses, the tablet being an outstanding decal image of a beehive.  The metal dial may hold the original paint, the minute hand a replacement.  The 8-day time-and-strike movement is unsigned; it is running and striking on a wire gong as expected.  A good label inside.  Collectable for the great tablet.  $100-$200.
