Antique American Clocks January 2021
70. $325
Waterbury “Regulator No. 20”, ca. 1906. A 38-inch oak case with an old finish, a bit dull. The door glass is old, the dial glass not so much. The painted 12-inch dial may be original as it is quite dirty but with little
flaking. The hands are correct and old. The brass plate movement is signed and running, time-only, eight days with a seconds
hand, driven by two wafer weights that run along the sides of the case. The pendulum stick and bob are correct. A black
label on the inside bottom. Horton’s sold a near-identical example in July of 2019 for $350. $350-$500.
