Waterbury “Office Drop”, ca. 1875.  A 24.5-inch walnut case, refinished some time ago.  The dial glass is old but may be replaced.  The dial is glossy paper over metal, with some foxing.  Hands period but not as shown in catalog image.  The 8-day time-only movement is signed and running vigorously.  Just a shred of a label inside.  An uncommon model, the most recent of two sales in the Antique Clocks Price Guide was for $250 at Schmitt’s in 2013. $100-$200.
