E. Howard & Co. “No. 89 Regulator”, ca. 1889. Sixty-five inches of solid
oak with an old finish, and all finials present and correct. The glass is replaced and the 12-inch zinc dial repainted. The hands are Howard issue as is the huge pendulum bob, which shows some wear and corrosion. The 8-day time-only movement is signed
but not running with much enthusiasm; the weight is a replacement. This clock is renowned for its accurate time-keeping. This model in oak sells for $2000-$3000.
