235.    $25

Asian octagon long drop, ca. 1920.  This is a small (22 inch) octagon drop in walnut with a new contoured dial pan.  Both glasses are modern; the “Regulator A” on the glass copied American clocks of the same style.  The 8-day time-and-strike movement is unsigned and cheaply made; there is no label so we do not know the maker but it is likely from Japan or Korea.  The pendulum looks like an Ingraham pendulum, with much corrosion.  The brass bezel has come unsoldered from its hinge and will need resoldering.  As cute as it is, I would not count on this clock to be accurate or reliable.  $25-$75.
