Antique American Clocks July 2020
124. $400
Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. “No. 4 Hanging Office”, 1869-1918. A classic office calendar clock,
one of ICCC’s most popular models. This one is in oak with a medium stain and a closed dial (no view of the movement). The dials are old paper with some wear, the hands are correct. Both glasses are old with wooden retaining rings rather than
brass, indicating that this example was made later in the production cycle. The time-only 15-day, double-spring LaPort-Hubble
movement (unsigned) is running without issue, and the calendar is advancing. These clocks typically sell for around $450. $400-$500.
