Jefferson Electric “bullet” clocks, ca. 1960.  Two small electric desk clocks, 5 inches high with 3-inch dials.  The gold clock is the Model 880, an uncommon model that runs on two AA batteries.  The dial glass is convex with gold numerals and hands, and a white second hand.  It is signed at the bottom of the black dial.  The gold mirror finish is good but not perfect and is brushed gold around the dial.  The clock runs fast, perhaps today’s batteries do not match those available in 1960.  The chrome clock is the “500” model, much more common.  It runs on household current; the cord is wrapped under the base.  It has a flat glass dial with gold numbers and lines, signed at the bottom, and a corrugated black dial with gold hands and a red second hand.  It is running and keeping good time, and the finish is excellent.  You can read more about these clocks at Roger Russell’s webpages.   $75-$125.
