Antique American Clocks January 2020
458. $10
Heco swivel mantel clock, ca. 1960. HeCo stands for Henry Coehler & Co., a NY importer from Germany. The clock was probably made by Kundo. It stands 8 inches tall on a marble base in a swivel mount. The brass is tarnished
and worn. There is a convex glass over the dial, which winds and sets from the back. The dial is signed Heco, 8 days 4
jewels, the lever movement is signed Henry Coehler & Co. It runs for a bit but stops frequently. Anniversary clocks
and cuckoo clocks seem to be most common from Heco, but they sold other clocks similar in style. $10-$25.
