Seth Thomas “Office Calendar No. 7”, 1888.  The second-smallest Office Calendar, at 26.5 inches (behind the No. 3 “Peanut”).  This one is very original.  The glasses and hands are old, including the original calendar hand; the dials may have been repainted long ago as they are just too good to still be original paint, but they show a lot of age; the calendar roller paper covers are very dark, and the walnut veneer case shows no repairs and has all the decorative buttons. This one is time-only with a signed ST movement that is running effortlessly.  The pendulum bob is a replacement.  The calendar day is advancing but the date needs adjustment.  Good labels inside, and a date stamp on the back (1888).  About all you could ask for.  The last one Horton’s sold was in July of 2018 for $610.  $500-$650.
