183.           $500

Chelsea Clock Co. “No. 1 Pendulum”, ca. 1911.  A 32-inch oak case with an old and slightly worn/faded finish and two old/original glasses.  The dial is a newer replacement, the hands are likely original.  The 8-day, time-only movement is die-stamped Chelsea Clock Co. and is running without issue, driven by a proper iron weight and regulated by an over-polished pendulum bob.  There is a good weight shield and a pendulum tie-down. No label.  A nice example; AAC sold a rougher example two years ago for $500, and Schmitt Horan sold a similar example in 2020 for $550.  $500–$600.
