49-inch cherry case that has been refinished beautifully; the only flaw I see is the center ball finial, which should not be sitting
on a post. That can be easily fixed. The door glass is modern, as are the door hinges; the signed dial is old paint with
some touch-up and fading. The hands are correct modern replacements, adapted to fit. The 8-day, time-only movement
is unsigned, running but not enthusiastically, regulated by a ST pendulum and bob and a proper weight. There is a beat scale
but no label and no date stamp. AAC sold a very similar example a year ago for $1923. $1500–$2000.
